Since moving out to New York, one of the things we’ve been meaning to do is run across the Brooklyn Bridge. As the weather has been decidedly warm for April we managed to get out the other weekend and tick it off the list.
When planning the route we decided to set off from the World Trade Center site and run up to Manhattan Bridge, run across to Brooklyn and then run back over Brooklyn Bridge therefore covering the two bridges along with some sites from the Brooklyn shore.
Here’s the exact route my GPS watch logged:
Naturally I took my camera with me and managed to get a few decent snaps of some landmarks along with typical New York life (baseball game going on):
All in all we covered 4.4 miles and had plenty of fun dodging the tourists when running back over Brooklyn Bridge, highly recommended!
