Last week NYC saw one day of snow but it was unlike any day of snowfall I’ve ever encountered! The snow was blowing horizontally due to 55mph winds and it was drifting like sand dunes, the news officially reported it as a blizzard so I can add that to the list of new experiences since living in NYC.
They’re certainly geared up for snow in the US with plenty of snow ploughs and skidoos with ploughs on the front out doing the rounds almost instantly. Here are some pictures taken after the snowy chaos:
