Facebook + Squash = Social Network influenced drink

I’ve been using Facebook quite a lot to post pictures & updates to keep my family & friends updated on our shenanigans in NY. I’ve also been hunting around to find a suitable replacement for squash (which they don’t have over here in the US), a friend of mine who recently moved out to San Francisco is also experiencing the same frustrations.

So where is the post going…

Well, the closest thing I’ve found to tasting like cordial is Vitamin Water, yeah it’s a little bit more expensive but it has an added bonus of providing vitamin supplements (handy!) and the picture below explains that they used Facebook to connect with people who also share the same enthusiasm for the product to create a unique flavor based on drinkers preference. I personally found it interesting that social networking is influencing manufacturers views on the products they are creating. Here’s a pic:
